Land Conservation

  • Assisted in or has drafted, negotiated and closed conservation easement transactions for Kentucky's two leading private non-profit land trusts, including the conservation easement believed to be the largest value per acre donation in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
  • Selected as Counsel to the Land Trust for Tennessee, negotiating conservation easements with landowners for the perpetual protection of open space and farmland in Tennessee, including implementation of a purchased conservation easement working with the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program of the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service.
