  • Represented the Kentucky Insurance Commission in liquidation of Kentucky Central Life Insurance Co., Kentucky's largest domestic insurer. At the time, it was the largest liquidation of its kind in the nation.
  • Represented the Commissioner of Insurance/Liquidator of Kentucky Central Life Insurance Co. liquidation, including a negotiation of more than $1 billion reinsurance agreement with Jefferson Pilot.
  • Served as Kentucky counsel on the merger of Kentucky Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan with Anthem and served as Kentucky counsel on the Anthem demutualization.
  • Represented large regional insurance brokerage in a number of multi-state acquisitions brokers
