With so many acronyms being used to describe new trends in the construction industry, it’s sometimes difficult to make sense of it all when considering starting a new construction project or a major renovation. This presentation will provide an overview of the new trends in the construction industry which you may want to consider using on your next health care construction project such as using an Integrated Project Delivery Method, Building Information Modeling, and/or rating system like the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Rating System.
Jennifer L. Elliott, a Member in the firm's Health Care Service Group, will moderate the session on building green in health care facilities.
Angela R. Stephens, an Associate in the firm's Construction Law Service Group who is a LEED Accredited Professional and the first attorney in Kentucky to achieve Green Advantage® certification, and Matthew A. Gillies, a Member in the Construction Service Group, will present on green and construction guidelines.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will accompany the informative program.
