Doug Jackson is trained as a nuclear engineer and is a Registered U.S. Patent Attorney. He has 25 years of experience with the boutique Intellectual Property Law firm of Larson & Taylor, which merged with Stites & Harbison in early 2004.
Mr. Jackson prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the mechanical/physics and nuclear arts for foreign agents and private and corporate clients. Mr. Jackson was an associate and then member of Larson & Taylor PLC, an Intellectual Property firm, working there from 1975-2003. Mr. Jackson volunteers for Dr. Bear's Toy Closet, which serves the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is a self-described "general handyman and Mechanic" who observes, "I'm always constructing or further breaking things at home and in automobiles. I have plenty of opportunities to employ my dubious skills when given jobs by my wife and three (mostly grown) daughters." Doug's always ready for a serious game of racquetball, or a fun game of tennis or golf.Recent Assignments
