Michael Hinchion's practice focuses on taxation and corporate law. Mr. Hinchion concentrates on business acquisitions and dispositions, entity formation and reorganization, and complex financial transactions. He joined the firm in August 1984. He was named to the Nashville Business Journal's Best of the Bar in 2007, 2008 and 2009, is listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers (2008-2011), and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® (2008-2012) for Banking & Finance Law. Mr. Hinchion is also a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois (1976).
Before Stites & Harbison
Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Mr. Hinchion was with Sommer & Barnard of Indianapolis, Ind., from September 1982 to June 1984 and with the Indianapolis office of Coopers & Lybrand from September 1980 to September 1982. Prior to law school, he worked in the Chicago, Ill., office of Arthur Young & Company.
