Mike Herrington is experienced in securities, municipal bonds and corporate related activities. Among his clients is an insurance holding company in its private placement investments of more than $300 million. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® (2007-2012) for Public Finance Law.
His recent major representations include insurance companies, public companies, governmental agencies, health care companies, foreign banks, REITs, underwriters, trustees, letter of credit issuers and brokerages. He also has participated in mergers and acquisitions in multiple jurisdictions and in large commercial lending transactions.
Recent Assignments
- Represented the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development in its attempt to secure a foreign automobile manufacturer in a billion dollar transaction
- Involved with equity registration statements for public clients
- Active as underwriters' counsel in connection with several multi-million dollar transactions
- Represents one of the largest insurance holding companies in connection with its private placement investments of more than $300 million
