Bill Hellmann has more than 30 years experience as a transactional attorney representing clients in a wide array of business and finance matters. He enjoys drafting and negotiating complex documents, as well as counseling with major clients on legal and business matters. He has significant experience representing airports in contract and financial matters. Bill is AV-rated in Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in Kentucky Super Lawyers 2007 and 2008 magazine.

Before Stites & Harbison
Bill served on active duty with the U.S. Navy for four years, followed by a stint in the Naval Reserves. He served both as a surface warfare officer and as an intelligence officer.

Bill is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and served on the board of directors of a publicly-traded company for 22 years. He is a current member of the U.S. Naval Institute.
Besides Stites & Harbison
Bill is an avid fan of college football and basketball. He enjoys regular exercise, especially walking, tennis and ping pong. He enjoys spending time with his three adult children and his two granddaughters.
