Anne's practice focuses entirely on the construction industry. She represents contractors, design-builders, owners, developers and design professionals. She provides advice to project participants prior to commencement of the project, and resolves problems arising either during the project or post-project completion.

Anne is a member of the firm's Management Committee, member and former Chair of the Construction Service Group and Co-Chair of the Lexington Office Recruiting Committee. She is listed in Chambers USA, "America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2010), The Best Lawyers in America® (2007-2011) in Construction Law and the Kentucky Super Lawyers magazine (2007-2010), where she was also listed among the Top 25 Women Lawyers in the state in 2009. She is also a Fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers.

Recent Assignments

  • Successfully arbitrated three-month multi-million dollar claim on behalf of a design/builder against a Georgia tire manufacturing facility, and defended backcharge claims of the facility owner
  • Successfully litigated a case for a Minnesota bridge painting contractor, its subcontractor and its surety against the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Her clients achieved a $12 million settlement from the Cabinet, the largest settlement paid in the history of the Transportation Cabinet.
  • Negotiated successful resolution of a multi-million dollar dispute with a contractor and its surety regarding the failure of the contractor to timely complete installation of a gas pipeline under the Spring River in Iowa

Before going to law school, Anne worked as an intern at the Kentucky Attorney General's Office for a year, and then worked as a paralegal, specializing in construction cases, for six years.
