Before Stites & Harbison

Monet joined the firm in September 2011.  In the summer of 2011, she worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the University of Illinois College of Law LL.M. Advantage Program.  In the spring of 2010, Monet worked as an extern at the Champaign County Office of the Public Defender in Champaign, IL.  In the summer and fall of 2009, Monet worked as an extern for the Honorable Harold A. Baker and the Honorable Michael P. McKuskey at the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.  While in law school, Monet was a founding member and worked as a student attorney in the University of Illinois College of Law Family Advocacy Clinic.  She also worked as a law clerk for a general practice firm in Champaign, IL.  Before law school, Monet worked as a legal intern for Humana, Inc. during the summers of 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Monet likes to spend time with her friends and family.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, painting, and cooking.
