Bill Creason is the Director of Marketing & Client Development for the firm and is located in the Louisville office.  He has been with the firm since Spring, 2006.

Before Stites & Harbison

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Bill was with Brown-Forman Corporation from 1979-2003, where he served in various Marketing and Management positions.  His last position at Brown-Forman was Vice-President/General Manager for the Woodford Reserve Distillery.  After leaving Brown-Forman, he had an active consulting business assisting startups and mid-size business in their strategic planning.

More than Stites & Harbison

Bill has an abiding love for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and for his home town of Louisville.  He has served on various boards throughout the years and participated in different leadership programs focused on those two loves.  Most recently, in November 2010 he went on the Development Committee for the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute (CII) in Louisville, where he serves as chairman of CII's Marketing/Public Relations Committee.

He has also served on the boards for The Home of the Innocents, Louisville Collegiate School and the Session at Second Presbyterian Church (three separate occasions).  Since 2006, he has served on the West Louisville Economic Alliance Advisory Committee.

Following College, Bill proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1974 with the First Battalion, 12th Marines stationed at Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station in Hawaii.
