Before Stites & Harbison
Vonda joined Stites & Harbison in September 2009 after participating in the firm’s summer associate program in 2008. In the summer of 2008, Vonda also worked as a legal intern for Yum! Brands, Inc. in Louisville, Ky. In the summer of 2007, she was a summer associate at Campbell Woods, PLLC, in Huntington, West Virginia. While in law school, Vonda worked as a student attorney in the West Virginia University College of Law Clinical Law Program representing low-income individuals in family law and consumer debt matters. She also represented prisoners who were wrongly convicted in cases where DNA or other forensic evidence could prove their innocence.
More Than Stites & Harbison
Vonda is a volunteer attorney for the Center for Women and Families. She is also a volunteer attorney for the Legal Aid Society Volunteer Lawyer Program.
Besides Stites & Harbison
Vonda enjoys taking care of her “green children,” also known as her plants. When she has time, she likes working out, watching and playing basketball, writing poetry and listening to Miles Davis.
