Cassie is an attorney in the Louisville office and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Service Group and Class Action Defense Group. Cassie has a diverse practice, which includes representing clients in complex class actions, professional malpractice, real estate, and product liability litigation.
Recent Assignments
- Briefed and argued immigration case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit
- Prevailed on several dispositive motions dealing with a variety of contract, professional malpractice, and real estate issues
- Successfully tried case on behalf of title insurance company and obtained favorable decision for the client
- Served as second chair trial counsel in real estate litigation involving a city government
- Assisted in defending numerous complex class actions related to insurance and annuity products
- Assisted in representing major medical device manufacturer in litigation in multiple states

Before Stites & Harbison
Cassie joined Stites & Harbison in September 2006 after participating in the firm's summer associate program in 2005. In 2004, Cassie was a summer intern at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Illinois. In the Spring of 2006, she worked in the Washington University School of Law Civil Justice Clinic assisting victims of domestic violence in obtaining orders of protection.

Cassie serves as a volunteer lawyer for the Center for Women and Families in Louisville and the Legal Aid Society.

In her spare time, Cassie likes to read a variety of fiction, write, play piano, watch movies, and travel.
