Chuck Waters is a Member in the firm's Atlanta office and is a member of the Real Estate & Banking Service Group. His practice focuses on the representation of local and national banks and other financial institutions in commercial real estate transactions, loan workouts, property disposition, and other commercial lending matters. He also provides representation to non-lender entities and individuals on a broad range of real estate matters.

Before Stites & Harbison
Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Mr. Waters was a Partner, 2000 to 2006, and Associate, 1994 to 2000, with Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, P.C., in Atlanta. He also served as the Managing Attorney, 2002 to 2006, of that firm's East Cobb office in Marietta, Ga. In that capacity, he managed the full operation of that office and oversaw the office's residential and commercial real estate practice, representing financial institutions, real estate professionals and other parties in matters including closings, contract negotiations, title insurance and related matters and disputes involving real estate. Before that, he was an Associate, 1991 to 1994, for Davis & Doster, Atlanta, where his emphasis was on civil litigation, particularly creditors' rights and real estate litigation.
Besides Stites & Harbison
Outside the office, Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, and is an avid fan of The University of Georgia Bulldogs. He stays active in the local community and is involved with Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where he is a member of the Administrative Board, Staff-Parish relations committee, Program Council and is Chair of Men's Ministries. Chuck also serves on the Board of Trustees for Mount Vernon Presbyterian School in Atlanta, and is co-chair of the school's 2011-12 annual fund. He is also a member of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation where he is a panel member and volunteer attorney, and a mentor for the State Bar of Georgia Transition Into Law Practice Program. He is a certified guardian ad litem volunteer for the Fulton County Superior Court.
