Cyndy Buttorff is a Member of the firm and is based in the Louisville office where her practice focuses on trusts and estate administration, estate planning and charitable giving, charitable and non-profit organizations, estate and gift taxes, probate and fiduciary law issues.  Ms. Buttorff joined the firm in 1996 and is a member of the Trusts & Estates Planning/Domestic Service Group.

Before Stites & Harbison

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Ms. Buttorff practiced law with the Louisville firm of Lynch, Cox, Gilman & Mahan, P.S.C., handling estate and business planning, ERISA and related matters.

Before that, she served in a variety of capacities in the Trust Department with Liberty National Bank and Trust Company, Louisville, including Trust Officer and Vice President and Manager, Trust Tax Administration, where she oversaw the preparation and filing of fiduciary income tax, estate and gift, inheritance and personal income tax returns for clients of the Louisville offices and all affiliate banks in Kentucky and Indiana.

Ms. Buttorff has served many civic organizations.  Her involvement includes the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law Alumni Council; Meredith Dunn School, Board of Trustees; National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, National Chair and Development Committee; Duncan Tavern Historic
