Haley Dickerson is an Associate in the firm's Lexington office where she is a member of the Construction Service Group and an adjunct member of the Intellectual Property and Technology Group.  Haley's litigation practice includes disputes involving construction, intellectual property, and general business litigation.  Haley also regularly assists clients in protecting their intellectual property, including counseling clients in the selection and registration of trademarks, designing and implementing intellectual property plans, and drafting and negotiating licenses and other contracts that implicate intellectual property rights.

Recent Assignments

  • Co-authored the U.S. Supreme Court amicus curiae brief on behalf of the American Intellectual Property Law Association in the copyright infringement class action Reed Elsevier v. Muchnick, Civ. No. 08-103
  • Part of a team that obtained a favorable resolution of a copyright infringement case involving architectural plans on behalf of national construction business
  • Developed an IP Policy for a national, non-profit organization
  • Obtained summary judgment in a case involving breach of fiduciary duties and self-dealing

Haley joined Stites & Harbison in September 2007 after participating in the firm's summer associate program in 2005 and 2006. During college, Haley served as a White House intern in the Vice President's Legislative Affairs office.
