Community Involvement
Ron Bingham is a Member of the firm and is a member of the Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy Service Group. He routinely advises national and regional commercial lenders and corporate clients regarding pre-bankruptcy, bankruptcy, receivership and litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the country. Mr. Bingham has substantial experience with the confirmation process inherent in Chapter 11 reorganization cases and has handled numerous contested confirmation hearings on behalf of secured institutional clients. He also frequently represents Trustees in Chapter 11 bankruptcy litigation disputes.
In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Bingham was recognized by Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine as a Georgia Super Lawyer "Rising Star" in Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights Law. Ron was elected to serve his second term on the Board of the bankruptcy section of the Atlanta Bar Association for the 2010-11 year.

In addition to his professional activities, Ron is a graduate of the 2008-2009 Leadership Gwinnett class, serves on the Economic Development Committee for Partnership Gwinnett and is active at Duluth First United Methodist Church.

Ron is an avid runner who enjoys the competition and camaraderie of races in assorted distances. He also enjoys reading, expanding and maintaining a personal library, and spending time with his wife, Laurie, and their two sons, Hampton and Knox.
