Community Involvement
Ron C. Bingham, II, is a Member in the Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy Service Group. Mr. Bingham's practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions, asset-based lenders, CMBS Special Servicers and commercial leasing companies. He routinely advises clients regarding commercial workouts, receivership, bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Mr. Bingham has substantial experience with the confirmation process inherent in Chapter 11 reorganization cases and has served as lead counsel in numerous contested hearings in bankruptcy courts throughout the country.
In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Mr. Bingham was recognized by Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine as a Georgia Super Lawyer "Rising Star" in Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights Law. He has lectured and published on a variety of bankruptcy topics and was elected to serve his third term on the Board of the bankruptcy section of the Atlanta Bar Association for the 2011-12 year.

In addition to his professional activities, Ron is a graduate of the 2008-2009 Leadership Gwinnett class, serves on the Economic Development Committee for Partnership Gwinnett and is active at Duluth First United Methodist Church.
Besides Stites & Harbison
Ron is an avid runner who enjoys the competition and camaraderie of races in assorted distances. He also enjoys reading, expanding and preserving a personal library, and spending time with his wife, Laurie, and their two sons, Hampton and Knox.
