Ron Stay is a Senior Attorney based in the firm's Atlanta office where his practice focuses on representing institutional lenders and businesses in litigation related to contracts, foreclosures, workouts, and bankruptcy.  He is a member of the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Service Group. He is also a member of the firm's Sustainability and Emerging Technologies Law Group and is a LEED Green Associate.  He joined the firm in December 2001.

Recent Assignments

  • Confirmation of foreclosure sales of numerous commercial properties so that the lender was able to pursue the deficiency from the borrower and guarantors
  • Represented large national lenders in pursuing and collecting defaulted commercial debt from borrowers and guarantors
  • Defended medical discount card provider in nationwide class action case seeking over $20 million in damages
  • Represented shopping center developer in contract litigation arising from major renovation project
  • Represented foreclosing lender in successfully mitigating and settling environmental claims arising from failed development project
